In 1912 the Civil Service Organisation bought the site where the conference center stands today. The price was the staggering amount of 633 kroner and 22 øre. They built cottages and it became a popular vacation destination. Since then the site changed its appearance and owners a few times. In 2001 the center expanded by further 5 meeting rooms and a lounge room while the reception extended and outside the buildings main entrance you will find a large sculpture by the well known Danish artist Erik Heide. In 2006 a barbecue terrace is built hat can be covered by awnings. There is a large outdoor kitchen and room for 90 guests. In 2008-2009, the conferencecenter expanded with 28 single rooms and the recreational building was restored with a fitness room and a nice wine cellar which is associated with a new banquet room - Vinotheket
